DESCRIPTION:We invite you to register for our upcoming webinar on CPUC Equity and Access Grant Program Application process. (see flyer attached)\n\nWhat: The Equity & Access Grant Program will provide $30 million in funding for community-based organizations (CBOs) and Tribes to participate in CPUC's decision-making processes and make clean energy programs more accessible to underserved and underrepresented communities.\n\nWhen: August 9\, 2023 from 10-11:30am\n\nWhere: Virtual webinar| Register now at this link: https://cpuc.webex.com/weblink/register/r3e2464af106b09c179d4258f7cd04651\n\nHow: Grant Program strives to address the need to include the voices of underserved and underrepresented communities in CPUC decision-making processes. The program includes three grant accounts:\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Public Participation Grants: $3.1 million grant account will award up to $15\,000 for participating in a CPUC activity\, such as a working group\, panel\, or focus group.\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Equity\, Engagement\, and Education Grants: $9.75 million grant account will award up to $200\,000 for work that will educate consumers or perform outreach within an underserved community on a CPUC matter.\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Clean Energy Access Grants*: $15.65 million grant account will award up to $500\,000 for work that will address access to or education about the Microgrid Incentive Program (MIP)\, Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP)\, and Technology and Equipment for Clean Heating (TECH) Initiative.\n	\n\n\n \n\n* Aug. 9 webinar will focus on the specifics for the Public Participation and Equity\, Engagement\, and Education Grants.
